Designers deserve kudos
I’ve worked so hard today that my neck is in knots. I’ve been attempting to be a designer, and I am so NOT a designer. I know what looks good, but translating that from my brain to the computer is an arduous task for me. In fact, so arduous, that it’s usually impossible. Today, however, I managed to accomplish my goals. I’m sure a real designer would have done a better job, but I did ok. After messing with design work all day, I noticed someone had linked to one of my posts, and I investigated it.
Turns out, this guy is a designer, and his latest post is a study in the design process. He shows all of the sketches (118 of them!) he made just to come up with his personal logo. It’s pretty amazing to see the process, and it made me feel grateful that I don’t have to go through the design process all the time. Today was more than I could handle, and I have to admire and respect those that do it for a living.
So just wanted to throw some kudos out to the designers of the world. You are amazing.
